Koigen, David

   Ukrainian philos-opher and sociologist. He lived in Germany until 1912, when he returned to Russia. In 1921 he was appointed professor of philosophy and sociology at the Ukrainian University of Kiev. His writings include studies of the Jewish experience in history and culture.
